Component 4: Youth Employment Exchange Systems and other System-wide Improvements
Overview
Component Four strengthens Pakistan’s workforce development system by increasing the efficiency of the linkages between employers, job seekers, and workforce development professionals including state and district entities.
Key elements of the project approach include
- Facilitating networking events, develop and/or improve localized job connection web portals;
- Establishing local, financially sustainable Career Development Center;
- Broad-based efforts to promote greater gender equity in the workforce via a gender innovation fund. This fund will support creative partnerships with media and the private sector to support a public dialogue on gender equitable workforce development, while promoting working women as role models for women, their families and broader communities. The fund will also promote the identification, piloting and scale up innovations in gender equitable workforce development.

Life of Project Expected Results
- 50 Career Development Center will have been established with financial sustainability plans in place;
- A functioning web portal used by at least 500 additional employers; and
- Sustainable partnerships on gender integration using media as a tool.
