Component 2: Employability, Job Placement and Entrepreneurship for Secondary Schools and Universities
Overview
Component Two builds on lessons learned, adapts successful elements and creates or enhances and scales-up relevant/employability skills training programs and placement.
Key elements of the project approach include
- Through an Jobs Project employment training model targeted at secondary school and university graduates, youth will receive employability/workforce readiness skills, entrepreneurship skills, and job placement services in training programs delivered by NGOs, CBOs and other partners across the target districts.
- Support the establishment of a Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence to be hosted by a consortium of Pakistani academic institutions in partnership with an experienced overseas institution to foster entrepreneurship.

Life of Project Expected Results
Jobs Project will deliver basic workforce employability skills training to 40,000 secondary school and university graduates (approximately 50% women). 70% of those trained will have found employment or be self-employed within 6 months of having completed their training. A Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence will exist and have a viable sustainability plan.
